How Does MetaSo Achieve Cross-Chain Synchronization, and What Are the Roles of Users and Node Operat

MetaSo’s cross-chain synchronization is powered by the unique design of the MetaID protocol, which utilizes a decentralized data replication mechanism to ensure data consistency across multiple blockchains. Users’ MetaID activities, such as posting content, liking, commenting, etc., are directly recorded as on-chain transactions (referred to as PINs). These transaction data are then encapsulated into a cross-chain-compatible format through the on-chain mapping functionality of the MetaID protocol. Nodes rely on a lightweight broadcasting and verification mechanism to complete cross-chain synchronization seamlessly.

Node operators play a critical role in the cross-chain synchronization process by running target nodes on a specific chain. By monitoring data changes on their respective blockchains (typically configured using tools such as ZMQ for Bitcoin-based chains), the nodes capture relevant MetaID data packets and process them according to the rules defined in the MetaID protocol.

The cornerstone of this synchronization mechanism is the standardized format defined by the MetaID protocol, which enables nodes from other blockchains to read and replicate the data using a unified parsing framework without requiring additional multi-chain architecture configurations. Node operators must ensure the stable operation of their nodes, timely synchronization of updates, and regular data reconciliation with other nodes to identify and address potential issues such as synchronization delays or data loss.

Users benefit from cross-chain synchronization without needing to perform any additional actions. By simply logging into any node using their MetaID private key, all data is automatically loaded, requiring no further verification or reconfiguration. This mechanism ensures a frictionless user experience while maintaining the global availability of user behavior records. At the same time, it preserves the security and openness of a decentralized network, providing a seamless and reliable cross-chain interaction.
