During your use of MetaSo, correct configuration is key to ensuring smooth operation and functionality. Below is a detailed guide on setting up MetaSo’s RPC configuration and fee settings, enabling you to make the most of this platform.
Open the Settings Interface:
Log in to the MetaSo admin panel.
In the sidebar, locate and click on the "Settings" option.
Select RPC Configuration:
From the settings menu, choose the "RPC" option.
Configure BTC RPC: In the "BTC RPC Configuration" section, fill in the following details:
RPC Host: Enter the Bitcoin node's IP address and port, for example: 127.0.0.1:8332

RPC Username: Provide the username used to access the Bitcoin RPC service.
RPC Password: Enter the password for accessing the Bitcoin RPC service.
ZMQ Raw Transaction URL: If you are using ZMQ for transaction streaming, input the corresponding URL, such as tcp://127.0.0.1:18332
.
Configure MVC RPC: In the "MVC RPC Configuration" section, provide the same types of information as for BTC RPC:
RPC Host: Enter the IP address and port of the MVC node.
RPC Username: Input the username required to access the MVC RPC service.
RPC Password: Input the password for accessing the MVC RPC service.
ZMQ Raw Transaction URL: If using ZMQ for transaction streaming, provide the appropriate URL.
Save Configuration: After filling in all the required details, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button to save your configuration.
Access the Fee Configuration Interface:
In the settings menu, select the "Fee" option.
The service fee can be configured to use either BTC or SPACE, and you can switch between the two.
Configure Service Fee Address:
In the "Service Fee Address" field, enter the Bitcoin address that will receive the service fees.
Set Follow Service Fee:
In the "Follow Service Fee Amount" field, enter the amount users need to pay when following other users.
The amount should be specified in satoshi.
Set Post Service Fee:
In the "Post Service Fee Amount" field, enter the amount users need to pay when publishing content.
Set Comment Service Fee:
In the "Comment Service Fee Amount" field, enter the amount users need to pay when posting comments.
Set Like Service Fee:
In the "Like Service Fee Amount" field, enter the amount users need to pay when liking content.
Save or Reset Configuration:
If you are satisfied with the current configuration, click the "Save" button to save your settings.
If you want to discard the changes, click the "Reset" button to revert to the previous configuration.
Access the Domain Name Configuration Interface:
In the application, locate and click on the "Domain Name & Host" option.
On the configuration page, you will see a section where you can input the domain name.
Input the Domain Name for RPC Services:
Enter the domain name of your MetaSo node in the "Domain Name" field. This is the address your node uses for remote procedure calls. All content published via this node will carry the identifier of this Domain Name.
Enter your address in the "Host" field; this address will be used to receive $MetaSo rewards.
Save Configuration:
After entering the domain name, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to save your configuration.
